Hotel Beaucour served as our home base in Strasbourg during our trip to this city’s iconic Christmas markets. This charming hotel in the old town offers a variety of rooms and suites that are each a little different. We booked a “charm” room, which featured a comfy queen bed and rather spacious shower/bath. The room had lovely windows that looked out into the hotel courtyard, which was covered in twinkly lights.

What’s good? Our favorite thing about this hotel was the vibe. The courtyard was decked out with lights and other festive decor for the holiday and our room had so many unique details. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Is it gluten free friendly? The hotel offers a buffet brunch full of Alsatian goodies. The selection is smaller, but there are a good number of gluten free options including eggs, meats, yogurt, and separately packaged bread.
Toast’s opinion? This is an extremely pet friendly hotel. Toast was welcomed with some gourmet dog treats and other freebies. There is even a pet sitting service located next door.
Verdict: Hotel Beaucour is a charming and unique hotel that makes a great place to rest during the busy Christmas market season in Alsace.
